The wicker is naturally dark brown in colour when first harvested. Once it is washed and prepared, it becomes lighter in colour. Due to the completely waterproof nature of wicker, any items can be easily spray painted with stencils, designs or up-cycled to suit even the most unusual and contemporary colour schemes.
